CVAS is a state of Alaska licensed Big Game Transporter. As such we are authorized to publicly hold out to the hunting community for air transportation to and from hunting locations.
We operate a DeHavilland Beaver on floats, a Cessna 185 on Bushwheels and a highly modified Piper PA-12 on 31” Bushwheels. This gives us the capability to get you into excellent moose, caribou and Dall sheep country with the right sized plane for your needs.
Our area of operations is the western and northern portion of the Wrangell Mountains and the Copper River Basin, from the Talkeetna Mountains on the west, Alaska Range on the north and into the Chugach Range on the south.
We strive to maintain sustainable hunting in our area of operation and cooperate with other air taxis and guide services to not overuse any particular area.
Our rates are based on a per aircraft basis with additional trips if required for the game taken. We do not provide any guide services or equipment rental.
